Loneliness — The internal demon

Loneliness is not a disease, lifestyle, or something “just in your head.” It’s a feeling that drenches all your energy, leaves you heartbroken, breaks every last hope that was left in you, and brings on all other demons, such as overthinking, anxiety, depression, etc.; but do we actually know what loneliness feels like?

In our busy world, loneliness is a big issue. It’s not just about being by yourself; it’s about feeling empty and disconnected, even when you’re around others. It is like a deep sense of isolation that goes beyond just physical isolation. It is more than just being without company; it’s about needing more meaningful connections. Being alone is just a physical state, but loneliness is the emotional and psychological response to that isolation.

You can be in a crowd and still feel really alone.
